I thought this looked pretty mysterious when I was visiting Tennessee and woke up to find it outside my window:

Candace, good one. It's underwater. Here is a fresh one. I know it's fall when I go grocery shopping and they have pumpkins. It was 89 degrees, but it's still fall.
My Hollow Friends by GwenDeanne, on Flickr I'd like see a restaurant or hotel sign, if not a sign, then a photo of something that shows it's a restaurant or hotel. Thank you.

Since I'm still worn out from the Puyallup Fair last night, fetch me a photo of a carnival or a fair.

Well, no one here has eaten any fast food for over 2 months, I guess, so here's a cheat to get rolling again:

They are hiding here -- we've still got snow, and we didn't even get hit by yesterday's storm. So looking forward to spring!

This isnt from today, but from 4 or 5 years ago - but can sum up today well
Canada is this way by Great Beyond, on Flickr
My server went down at work today, meaning that I couldn't get anything at all done. The boss said go away and make up the hours tomorrow. Well hell, I think - what ever am I going to do with my day? I know! I'll go take pictures of the Peach Arch on the Canadian boarder. Sadly I didn't have my passport with me, so I couldn't actually get into Canada (although technically I was about 50 feet or so outside of the united states). And then I got a jug of Apple Cider and came home.
Whew. That was a whole lot of day. So, how about something silly you April fools you!

I'd like to see something from a "bird's eye" view.

I want something old, that still looks like new, (not a human)

I've got a quadruple whammy for you. --On the left, a Yashica Electro GS. Everything old is new again. Take a look at the styling on the Fuji X100S --In the middle is a Nikon N80. It was introduced 13 years ago, and If you told someone the screen was broken, they would not think twice until the rewind mechanism kicks in. --Attached to the N80 is a Nikon 50mm f/1.8 D lens. The optics are a Zeiss design so old that the patent has expired. --On the right is a Nikon D80. It was introduced seven years ago. In digital camera years, it might as well be a thousand years old.

I'd like to see a happy accident.
