Bud, great work in those face "changes"! You have a quirky sense of humour obviously? <LOL>

Yesterday, I went "hunting" for a set of photos in one of my many boxes of such items :-). I came across this enlargement I had made, probably around 1957, of Brisbane's City Hall floodlit at night. After scanning it, I opened it up in PaintShop PRO, and played around with some of the handy tools it has.I am quite pleased with result, as it makes it almost look like a colour shot (the "aged" style border was from PaintShop too):

I have been creating greeting cards from many of my photos and selling them at the farmers' markets I attend as a vendor. They sell pretty well because of their uniqueness. I have begun designing and creating Christmas cards to sell recently. Here is one I just did. It began with the "Clouds at Soccer" shot I did recently and just sort of evolved into a Christmas tree and card. Below are a couple of the steps that led up to the finished one.

Very creative, Tufteach.  And all I saw in that planet pano/Rorschach test were faces (as always) and butterflies.  You saw a Christmas tree and the chance to make a few bucks... Bravo!
I don't know if it'd look okay, but I think you should try another with a sleigh and reindeer.  Although, the blue sky might look a tad weird (b/c Santa comes at night!)

MM, as a matter of fact, I have done one like you suggested! I used a photo  of a globe map and went from there...to this:

I have lots of others I have done!

P.s.  I also saw faces  and butterflies and fairies in the "Rorshach" tree image. Saw the tree when I turned it upside down!

I have been experimenting again with the Otek slide scanner  I purchased a few weeks back. This image was scanned from a Kodachrome 35 mm slide. It was very dark when I scanned it so I left it and moved on to other tasks. Today I came back to it again - by accident - and thought I would try some manipulation in ACDSee. What it brought out surprised me as there was more detail and colour there than I had seen in the original scan. The scene is one that was typical in the district I grew up in. Citrus growing was one of main agricultural pursuits, with numerous orchards scattered along the river which passed through our town. This was a typical packing shed in those orchards. The image shows a worker at a grading machine where fruit was graded according to size.

Because of the slow shutter speed, there is some blurred motion around the operator, which adds to the effect of "work" :-), I think.

Here is a panorama I edited out a phone pole and phone lines and an orange cone. My first time doing that. I am learning paintshop pro 2. I have the trial version and am going to buy a copy.

I don't know what's wrong with the link. I tried fixing it.

Sorry there guys -- image posting has been corrected now. If you posted a photo and it showed with an error when it shouldn't have just edit your post and try again. It should work the second time. Heidyth - I went ahead and corrected yours.
