Flickr

Is it possible to change the resolution of the photos you upload to flickr?  I'm trying to create a canvas through Big W and it keeps coming up with low resolution warning.  Cheers.

The photos are the same resolution you uploaded them in, Flickr makes extra copies in various sizes but your Original is the biggest one. Although if you have a free account, I think that limits you in some ways, maybe that's the problem.

Yeah, if you have a free account, your photos display at 1024x768. Mind you, the pictures are stored on the flicker servers at a higher resolution, so if you upgrade, you then get the full monty.

Thanks for your  help,
I have a pro account but still can't figure out if where it gives you an option of what size you want to upload.

You decide the size of your image that you want to upload and size it in yourediting software. I don't believe there  is that option in Flickr.

If you still have the original on your hard drive, why not up load it from there to BigW, by-passing Flickr? I have used BigW in the past and loaded images that way (similarly with Snapfish).
