Now, I have a happy accident to report! While searching among  my boxes of photos today (again!) for specific images, I came across a print which certainly qualifies as a "happy accident" :-). It was taken at a friend's wedding some years back and was (supposed to be) of the bridesmaid as she moved down the aisle. Can't recall what happened to cause the blurs of colour around the bridesmaid, but it made a real kaleidoscope that's for sure, with the bridesmaid virtually in focus. The colours are even more vivid when it is on-screen:

Taken with my Agfamatic 4000 on Kodacolor 110 size film.

That's gorgeous, Degilbo. Did you ever give a copy to your friend and/or to the bridesmaid?

No, Superdewa. At the time, I put it in "discards" when I passed on the other shots as I possibly thought - then - that it "wasn't up to (my) standard" :-(. Little did I realise that once I got it on-screen years later, it was probably the best shot I took that day <LOL>! Taken some years, but I am going to send it off to the bridesmaid, that's for sure. Her husband is "into photography" so he should appreciate it (they weren't married when this was taken). I have another slightly humorous one taken the same day, which I will scan later and post in Photojojo (it's not an "accident" one).

I thought the bottom portion of this was going to be too blurry to use as is... so I fiddled with photoshop...
I'm calling the result a happy accident.. I love it!

It's very cool -- almost like a silkscreen. This would look nice transferred onto paper or fabric, like a book cover or a canvas bag. See this photojojo article for the book idea: http://photojojo.com/content/diy/inkjet … transfers/

I was gonna toss this, but decided I kind of liked it. Looks like it was painted. Almost SOOC- minor tweaking.

Yeah, it does look brushwork instead of pixels. I really like it!
