Hello everyone!

I got my first iPhone a month ago and soon after started my own 365 of where I am standing everyday. It is a simple enough theme where it is not too limiting but gives me a great guideline for what to look for from day to day. Also I think limitation help me get more creative, and I can get into that!

Today was the final day of my 2012 366 Project. I am proud of most of the images though there are a few that were shot without much thought or just because I needed an image for the day. Haven't yet decided if I will start another just yet.

For anyone starting again, or still in the middle of one, I just stumbled on this "Your Ultimate Ideas Guide to Project 355 (with print out)"

I am starting a "shoot film 365. That means I will shoot film every day, but I may not post all my photos, and I certainly won't post every day. I just promise to pick up a film camera every day and take a photo. And since none of my film cameras have internal meters and I don't have an external meter, (no, I don't have a smartphone or an ipod touch either), that means I have to use my digital camera, too.

I never thought I'd get to a point where I wasn't taking photos every day, but I have. Part of it is because I ran out of room on my hard drive, and it took a while for me to come up with a good new system, and I got out of the habit of taking photos every day during that time because I space was so precious. This new project for me is to get me shooting again every day. I don't want to post everything or even every day (with other things) because I want to be able to have days where I don't get on the computer at all, and I also don't want stressing out over not-so-good photos to take over my life.

First month of my 2nd 365 in a row, third 365 since 2010. That's 1,096 images. Took many, many more than that--some very good, some not so good.

Oooh, that's a good idea. I should totally steal it! Right now - since I've done three years of All Halloween for October and two years of All Christmas for December, I'm in "Shoot Valentine's Day stuff" for the month. Will I get all 28 days of love and whatnot? Probably not - but at least a week or two of lovey-dovey crap. . . .
