Photo collage help

I want to create a "collage" (don't know what else to call it) using all pictures of the farm I live on. I want to do this by overlapping images and the final product showing the entire farm. I think I can do this on my own, but some help/advice would be appreciated. I have seen this done somewhere before, but don't remember where. Here on PJJ? Any suggestions, advice, help? I hope this makes sense.

ps--poster size

You mean a David Hockney style collage? Also known as a panography/panographie or joiner.

PJJ had this article: http://content.photojojo.com/tutorials/panographies/
